A small-group, faith-centered Camino experience planned for 2028—integrating walking, Positive Intelligence®, meaningful reflection, intentional community, and thoughtful preparation.

what if a walk changed more than your location?

The Camino Experience

Somewhere along the way… the noise quiets.

Your body gets stronger—but more than that, you realize you can do hard things.

You need less… and feel more full.

There’s laughter. Real laughter. And moments that catch in your throat because they matter more than you expected.

You begin to feel a kind of contentment that doesn’t come from accomplishing… but from living it.

And you carry that with you long after the walk ends.

This experience is not being designed around rushing, sightseeing, or simply being able to say you completed The Camino. One where the miles matter, but what happens within you matters more.

This is not just a trip

Well before we head off to Spain, we'll prepare physically, mentally, spiritually, practically, and relationally-- building mental fitness, strengthening faith, exploring expectations and fears, and becoming a community before we ever share a trail.

The Camino becomes the immersive center of the experience—weeks of walking where resilience, faith, uncertainty, solitude, community, discomfort, beauty, and everything we’ve been practicing become very real.

The journey continues after we return home, with intentional reflection and integration so what was learned on the Camino has a chance to shape ordinary life rather than becoming simply a remarkable memory.

The LTR Camino Experience is being designed as a faith-based mental fitness journey that begins well before we arrive in Spain and continues after we come home—with the Camino as the central immersive experience.

The Camino is the heart of the experience—not the whole of it.

WHY I’M CREATING THIS  EXPERIENCE

My relationship with the Camino began in 2023, when I set out to walk the Camino Francés with a dear friend. An injury ended her journey much earlier than either of us expected, and I ultimately walked most of the route to Santiago on my own.

In 2025, I returned with my husband. Together, we walked from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port to Santiago and continued on to Muxía and Finisterre.

The two journeys were profoundly different, but both taught me that the Camino is about far more than the miles. It reveals our expectations, patterns, fears, faith, relationships, resilience, and capacity to keep walking through what we cannot fully control.

That experience began shaping the vision for the LTR Camino Experience: a thoughtful integration of the Camino, Christian faith, Positive Intelligence®, meaningful reflection, community, preparation, and post-Camino integration.

We plan to walk again in 2027 as part of the preparation for the first LTR Camino Experience in 2028.

This experience may be for you if…

A gentle invitation

● You feel the pull toward something deeper—even if you can’t quite name it
● You’re in a season of transition, reflection, or quiet questioning
● You want space to think, breathe, and reconnect

● You’re open to faith, growth, and meaningful conversation
● You’re willing to step out of your routine and into something that might stretch you
● You’re craving space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself in a more intentional way

This experience is a slower, more sustainable pace, with space for reflection, not just movement. It offers light structure, meaningful guidance, and integrates mental fitness with faith-centered prompts and conversations, all within a small, connected group walking a shared journey. It’s not about doing the Camino “right,” but about allowing it to do its work on you.
